Barb Connell has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2010. Her Associates degree was received from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in beautiful Lakewood, Colorado with certifications in Cranial Sacral Therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Continuing education is an important aspect of my practice and I have received training in Trauma Touch, Aromatherapy and Healing Touch. 

My journey with massage began shortly after my husband had a major abdominal surgery with severe complications back in 2011. In order to help him with digestion and general aches and pains during a lengthy recovery, I learned some basic techniques from a massage therapist friend. He received so much relief from very basic work that I was hooked!  This whole process got my wheels turning and now I am able to effectively serve my family and my  community by providing knowledgeable and safe touch in a therapeutic setting.  

While I lived as a Colorado native for many years, my husband, daughter and dog landed in Bastrop in 2021 and our community of Texans have made us feel very welcome!
